Starting tomorrow, the Royal Entomological Society and its partner organisations will be hosting events all over the UK to promote insect science through all sorts of events to teach people about the importance of the bugs around us.
For the duration of Insect week (24th-30th June), we will be releasing a new article everyday celebrating common insects that are often overlooked in the UK, but play important roles in agriculture and ensuring the wellbeing of our crops. If you are interested, or want to learn more, check back in every day this week to learn more about a different insect. Or, if you want to get involved in other ways, check out the Royal Entomological Society’s Insect week website: https://www.insectweek.org/.
